As of December 9th, 2013 RefWorks users will no longer be required to enter a group code when logging in to their RefWorks account(s) off-campus or outside of their institutional IP range. This improvement comes at the request of numerous RefWorks users and administrators and serves to simplify the RefWorks login process. RefWorks is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of Write-N-Cite 4 for Windows. This version is compatible with locally installed versions of Word 2013, and it resolves numerous past issues.

RefWorks recently made improvements to the sharing feature, enhancing the ability for collaboration. Shared folders from other users are now view-able directly in your RefWorks account, just like your own folders that you've created. The shared folders are visible in the Quick Access Bar, and a sharing icon distinguishes the shared folders from all your other folders.
