We recently learned that Mac users with Word 2016 need to use Reference Citation Manager for in-text citations and that the only way to get this is through a Microsoft Add-in that has not been updated since 2016.  Our campus has currently blocked our ability to download Microsoft Add-ins so I cannot test myself how well this tool works.

Is anyone having positive experiences with the Mac/ Word 2016 / Reference Citation Manager combination?

Does anyone have feedback on migrating a very long Word doc using Wite-N-Cite in legacy, to using Ref Citation Manger in the New RefWorks.    The documentation indicates that Write N Cite codes are not recognized by RCW (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Product_Documentation/...) so it sounds to me like a researcher would need to star over at square one in inserting citations into their papers.  Do I have that right?
