We just saw the announcement (by accessing the Flow site) about the eventual discontinuation of Refworks, with the migration of everyone over to Flow.

Right now, we are having a hard time getting many users into Flow because they can't export records from databases through our proxy server (unless it is using the RIIS format).   Many of our faculty and grad students see this a real step backward.    Is this feature going to be added in shortly?

I saw on one of the feature comparison charts that they are planning to have a browser import tool (like Mendeley's maybe?) when the full version rolls out in the spring. I'm not planning to move anyone into Flow/New Refworks until I know it's fully functional and stable. I would certainly appreciate more info about this!

I also see a batch export feature as being upcoming, so I am hopeful.  We don't plan on moving anyone over until we see more functionality and stability either, but we need to be clear what the functionality will be or else we will have to look at other systems.
